Explosion-Proof Motors
Lincoln Signature Series Explosion-Proof motors are ideally suited for
hazardous locations as defined by the motor’s explosion-proof class
and group rating. They are available in single phase or three phase voltage configurations.
Lincoln Explosion-Proof motors are very versatile. One model is listed in multiple classes/groups
for simplified motor selection and potential inventory reduction. Three phase 60 Hz designs
are inverter-rated for use with any drive and are nameplated 190/380 V, 50 Hz for use overseas.
Single Phase Features:
- UL Listed in Class 1 Groups C & D and Class 2 Groups F & G (Divisions 1 & 2)
- Capacitor start design for high starting torque
- Steel frame and cast aluminum end brackets
- Double sealed ball bearings
- Automatic reset thermal protector
- Meets UL frame temperature limit code T3B
- Warranty – 12 months from date of first use or 18 months from date of manufacture, whichever period expires first.

- Cast iron frames and end brackets on frames: 182T and larger
- Inverter-Rated: constant and variable torque speed range of 6 to 60 Hz (10:1)
