How Long Has My Lincoln Motor Been Running?
Since most people never have trouble with their Lincoln motor, they don’t know how
long it’s been running. Here’s an easy way to determine the motor’s age. All you
need is the serial number from the motor nameplate and the following information.

SERIAL NUMBERS BEGINNING WITH “M”
Example: MB 6030 0 7A
Last two characters represent year & month; “7A” = January 2000
